Down the years, we’re apostate.
And it was not the Israel, it wasn’t the result, I mean, of Israel’s behavior that keeps Israel with all the possibility of joy and fullness of life. It isn’t because of Israel as a national entity. It’s because of God and His patience working all the way through it, saying to Moses, I’m going to end them. And Moses says, don’t do that. And God said, well,
I won’t. I will keep to myself this. I’ll work with the nation and believers responded to God’s kindness and gospeling. And the text will keep saying things like this. Unless the Lord of hosts had left unto us a seed, we would have been like Sodom and Gomorrah completely wiped out.
