He says, Do you know how you come to know what is that good and perfect and acceptable will of God?
You get a change of mind. He’s not talking about us flawlessly doing anything. Sinners don’t do anything flawlessly. For while God is offering all kinds of materials, all kinds of truth, all kinds of blessings, we’re not up to receiving them all. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t offer them. We just can’t embrace them all. But here he says,
Don’t be conformed to the world, but be you transformed by this this wondrous change of mind, which is the work of God, and you happy about it and working with him in it. Do that, he said. See life differently, he says. And you will know, not flawlessly, but you will know what is that good and
Perfect and acceptable will of God.
