You present your bodies a living sacrifice. That is live yourself live your life out as. It’s it’s really silly to say that in the Old Testament the sacrifices were dead sacrifices. Well of course they weren’t dead sacrifices, if there were animals I mean. Because the animals were alive when they were offered.
And the act of sacrifice was the giving of their life. They weren’t dead sacrifices. But neither are people who have committed to God and have come to know and love God. They they live out their lives. So, loving your husbands or your wives, your children or your parents, respecting one another, doing all that kind of thing, the kind of thing that we see in the Lord Jesus, to the degree
That the grace of God is able to transform us as we go. That’s what our business is. He said, present your bodies a living sacrifice, wholly acceptable to God. And that’s your reasonable service.
