What does that transform us mean? It excites us for starters. Gets us all gingered up, but makes us at
times feel sad. But that what’s happening to people?
Makes us see him better.
If we get the right kind of Bible study, the right kind of Bible classes, the right kind of proclamation when we gather, what happens is we kind of get our head up right hard up against God’s chest. And we listen to the thump, thump in there. And when certain things are said, we hear it beating faster.
When we hear someone say something absolutely gorgeous about him, it thrills him. Not only does it please him, it pleases him for us. pleases him for us.
He thinks and you put your hand on his chest and you and he bang bang bang and it’s speeding up. He’s happy for us. And he’s happy for the world in which we live.
